Patient Monitor User Interface
The user interface is similar to that of a standard vital signs monitor, making operation intuitive for clinicians. If there is anything you wish to change or know about, you simply touch that item on the display.
Monitoring Protocols
Pre-configured protocols step the user through a monitoring application. Instructional content for patient setup is integrated and easily accessible. Pre-configured protocols include those for both reduced monitoring (using 1 or 2 channels) and full-array monitoring. Protocols can also be created and edited by the user to focus on specific monitoring needs.
Device and Measurement Information
Information necessary to connect and configure each external device interfaced to the CNS Monitor is embedded in the system. Setup, quick tour, and operating information are included for most interfaced devices. Concise tutorials are provided for most supported measurements.
Help Information
A Quick Tour of the monitor's operations is available for viewing prior to using the monitor. InfoButton help is available on most screens and dialogs. An overview screen is used to explain the purpose of each step in a monitoring protocol.
System Configurability
The modular design of the CNS Monitor incorporates a wide range of software "components" for device interfaces, protocols, educational modules, etc. User-configurable displays and monitoring protocols make the CNS Monitor versatile and easy to use for a variety of monitoring applications.
Software Updates
Software updates are easily field-installable via an update CD or DVD.
